KYVL tries to provide live, online training on both the KYVL website and our research databases several times a year. This training is free to all KYVL members. All scheduled training sessions will be posted on this page and an announcement will be sent to the KYVL-News listserv.

You have access via KYVL to the New Book of Knowledge and Amazing Animals of the World for elementary schools, The Grolier Multi-Media Encyclopedia for middle schools and the Encyclopedia Americana for high schools and adults. This webinar worked through the main features of the GO resources and highlighted key database features.

On-Site Training and Conference Appearences

KYVL frequently presents at library association conferences and as part of professional development programs statewide. We have also done on-site training for librarians, staff and educators at individual schools and institutions. Our availability for all on-site training is determined on a case-by-case basis depending on KYVL staff schedules and budgetary constraints.
