Promoting KYVL
In order for KYVL to exist and expand, it is very important for Kentuckians to know that KYVL is available to them and that the databases they are using are a part of the Kentucky Virtual Library. We encourage you to use the materials below to promote KYVL with your patrons, administrators and legislators - both in person and throughout your library website.
Linking to KYVL
We recommend that you provide a link to KYVL on your library website's homepage. If you are providing direct links from your library page into a specific database through the native interface, also we ask that you put a KYVL logo next to that link.
To download the images below from a PC, put your cursor over the image, click the far right button on your mouse, click on "Save Target As..." (IE) or "Save Link As...." (IE) and save it to your machine. To have it appear on your website, place a version of the logo on your Web server; please do not link directly to these images.
Feel free to edit the sizes of these images to fit in the constraints of your Web page. Please do not, however, change the overall appearance of the logo.
